Our wax is used by museums and restorers of every kind around the world.

Pre-lim is a mildly abrasive paste used to treat areas of corrosion on flat/smooth metals such as swords / armour and metal coachwork on cars.
Renaissance Metal De-Corroder is a gentle laboratory-style fluid more suitable for intricate items ( e.g clock parts / old coins) that can be dropped into a bath of the solution. It can also be painted or swabbed on to larger surfaces that cannot be immersed.
I have applied Renaissance wax to a surface and it has dried “smeary” . How can I remove it?
If you get a smeary or uneven finish, this may be due to a number of factors including uneven application of the wax or leaving the wax on too long before buffing it out to a sheen. If this is the case, use paraffin to soften the wax so that you can re-buff the surface. The underlying surface must also be clean and completely dry, before you apply Renaissance Wax to ensure a perfect finish. Paraffin will soften the wax but not remove it. To completely remove Renaissance Wax you will need to use the solvent White Spirit.
